Well, it looks like I'll be shooting soon. I am, however, quite a bit behind where I originally intended to be, but have still been getting work done. That said, It looks like at least initially I'll have to go to the conservative fail-safe plan of making a near entirely Penny and Jake only cut, perhaps adding some B-shots I wasn't originally planning for visual variety. I'm boarding out their sections now, and doing what little I need to do for their shot breakdowns, and giving them stuff to do, and sound to say. I do think I will still try to create the rough animated disaster/cctv like footage to have in the film as well, just because I still want to have it, and I'm going with the conservative plan anyways. I may use some of it full screen too, even, and add some new simple close up angles of reaction shots.... we'll see. It looks like I'll be having mostly green screen buffers between the foreground and background and then shoot plates. It appears this will be the simpler and smarter way to shoot, and allow better back ground compositing in the end. Building that green screen and one or two other key props I still need today...
